MILDRED E. TOWNSEND SHARLEVILLE

POPLAR BLUFF -- Mildred E. Townsend Sharleville, 76, died Tuesday, Dec. 27, 1994, at the Lucy Lee Hospital in Poplar Bluff.

She was born April 1, 1918, in Puxico, daughter of the late Charles Sr. and Sara Allison Ashbaugh.

Sharleville was a resident of Puxico for most of her life. She was a member of the Life Chapel Church in Puxico.

In 1936 she married Delbert Townsend. He preceded her in death in 1964. She married Albert Sharleville in 1968, who preceded her in death in 1977.

She was also preceded in death by one daughter, two brothers and one sister.

Survivors include one son, John McDonald Townsend of Orange, Calif.; two daughters, Doris Ann Leslie of Puxico and Donna Ruth Reining of Mesa, Ariz.; one sister, Nellie Ruth Smith of Puxico; 15 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.

Friends may call today after 7 p.m. at the Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Puxico. Services will be Friday at 1 p.m. at the funeral home chapel, with the Rev. Wiley McGhee officiating. Burial will be in the Puxico Cemetery.
