SIKESTON -- Mildred Baehr, 86, of Sikeston and formerly of Lilbourn died Saturday, Oct. 9, 1999, at the Clearview Nursing Center at Sikeston. She was born Nov. 11, 1912, at Wayne County, daughter of Edwin and Emma Graham Heath. She was married to Homer Baehr. He died Oct. 24, 1986...

SIKESTON -- Mildred Baehr, 86, of Sikeston and formerly of Lilbourn died Saturday, Oct. 9, 1999, at the Clearview Nursing Center at Sikeston.

She was born Nov. 11, 1912, at Wayne County, daughter of Edwin and Emma Graham Heath. She was married to Homer Baehr. He died Oct. 24, 1986.

She was a member of the First Baptist Church at Lilbourn for over 70 years and had been an area manager for World Book Encyclopedia.

Survivors include three sons, Edwin Baehr of Granite City, Ill., Steve Baehr of Sikeston and Danny Baehr of Lilbourn; a daughter, Rosemary Brewer of Oklahoma City; eight grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son, a grandson and three sisters.

Friends may call from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday at the Ponder Funeral Home at Sikeston.

Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the First Baptist Church at Lilbourn. The Rev. Robert Medlock will officiate, with burial to follow at Mounds Cemetery at Lilbourn.
