GRAND TOWER, Ill. -- Mike Clover, 46, of Grand Tower, died Monday, June 12, 1996, at Memorial Hospital in Carbondale.
He was born Sept. 28, 1948, in Grand Tower, son of Harvey and Essie Mezo Clover. He and Sondra Wright were married July 15, 1967, at Ware.
Clover owned and operated Clover Excavating many years, and was Grand Tower road commissioner seven years.
Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Becky Glodo of East Cape Girardeau, Shelly Clover of Grand Tower; his mother of Grand Tower; four brothers, Bernard Clover of Cape Girardeau, Mo., John Clover of Grand Tower, Richard Clover of Pinckneyville, Ralph Clover of Belleville; a sister, Linda Diesen of King George, Va., and a granddaughter.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Friends may call at Meredith Funeral Home in Grand Tower after 5 p.m. Wednesday.
Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with the Rev. John Prather officiating. Burial will be in Walker Hill Cemetery.
