MICKEY L. THRESHER

EAST PRAIRIE -- Funeral service for Mickey Leon Thresher, East Prairie Route 1, will be held at 2 p.m. today at Shelby Funeral Chapel here. The Rev. George White will officiate, with burial in East Prairie Memorial Park Cemetery.

Thresher, 53, died Tuesday, July 4, 1995, at his home.

He was born Jan. 2, 1942, in Mississippi County, son of Floyd S. and Afreda G. McIllwain Thresher.

Thresher was employed at Noranda Aluminum, and was a member of First Baptist Church.

Survivors include a son, Duke Thresher of East Prairie; a daughter, Sheila Tannehill of East Prairie; three brothers, Larry, Gene and Terry Thresher of East Prairie, and four grandchildren.
