Michele L. Mungle, 61, of Cape Girardeau died Saturday, Jan. 24, 2009, at the Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau.
She was born March 21, 1947, daughter of Lesley Frank and Geniva Mc­Kaslin Warner. On Dec. 24, 1973, she married Gary Clyde Mungle at the South Side Baptist Church.
She was a homemaker, but also worked at Southeast Missouri State University as a cook and at the Florsheim Shoe Co. She was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church and an avid bowler. She enjoyed making blankets for family members and friends.
Survivors include two sons, Robert James (Mary) England and Gary Charles (Melissa) Mungle, all of Cape Girardeau; a daughter, Teresa Griggs of Scott City; two sisters, Charlotte (Louie) Aurther and Teresa (Chuck) Fulford, both of Cape Girardeau; and nine grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her father; one son, Mark England; and a brother, Larry Warner.
Friends may call from 4:30 to 8 p.m. Monday at Lorberg Memorial Funeral Chapel.
Services at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Burial will be at Lorimier Cemetery in Cape Girardeau.
