Michael Walsh

CAIRO, Ill. -- Michael D. Walsh, 51, of Cairo died Monday, March 1, 2004, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

He was born Oct. 24, 1952, in Cairo, son of William J. and Helen Worthington Walsh.

Walsh retired as an agent with Commonwealth and Monumental Life Insurance Co.

Survivors include a brother, William Walsh, and a sister, Barbara Klein, both of Cairo.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Friends may call at Barkett Funeral Home in Cairo from 5 to 8 p.m. today.

The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery at Villa Ridge, Ill.
