Michael Teichman

Michael Robert Teichman, 46, of Springfield, Mo., passed away Sunday, June 23, 2013.

He was born in Cape Girardeau to Julia Patmore Wikoff and Kent Teichman. He attended schools in Cape Girardeau and Springfield.

Teichman is a veteran of Missouri Army National Guard and the United States Army.

He is survived by his mother, Julia Wikoff; father, Kent Teichman; stepmother, Donna Teichman; stepfather John Wikoff and wife Carole; two sisters, JoEllen Gettle and husband Steven, and Kendra Teichman; a brother, Ryan Teichman and wife Erika; two stepbrothers, Cliff and Tim Bowers; a niece, Alexandra Tyler; a nephew, Ryan Tyler; two stepnieces, Lindsey Gettle and Ryann Smillie; a stepnephew, Jacob Gettle; three aunts, Peggy Fassel, Rosemary Patmore and Jeanne Hirsch; an uncle, John Hirsch; and cousins, Chris Bourgeacq and family, Yvette Fobian and family, and Rachel Knapp and family.

A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Friday in the social hall at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 2818 E. Bennett St., Springfield.

Herman H. Lohmeyer Funeral Home in Springfield is in charge of arrangements.
