Michael Schuette

Michael Wayne Schuette, 63, of Cape Girardeau died Friday, April 6, 2012, at the Lutheran Home.

He was born Aug. 16, 1948, in Cape Girardeau, to Lester and Sylvia Miget Schuette.

Michael graduated from Central High School in 1966.

He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving in Vietnam.

Michael was a member of VFW Post 3838. He retired in 2010 from the U.S. Postal Processing Center in Cape Girardeau.

Survivors include cousins, Jerry, Richard and Tom Lawrence of Cape Girardeau, Sharon Webb of Jackson, Janet Berghold of Bonne Terre, Mo., Loren Schuette of Cape Girardeau; and an aunt, Midge Miget of Cape Girardeau.

Per Michael's request, there will be no visitation or funeral.

Ford and Sons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
