Michael Allen Roth, 55, of Old Appleton died Monday, April 19, 2010, at Martinsville Memorial Hospital in Martinsville, Va.

He was born in Perryville, Mo., on Aug. 10, 1954, son of Willard and Elvira Klaus Roth. He and Audrey Thompson were married Nov. 3, 1981.

He was a truckdriver for IVT (International Veneer & Timber). He was a member of Grace Lutheran Church in Uniontown, Mo., and Freedom of the Road Riders, and loved his German shepherds.

Survivors include his mother of Wittenburg, Mo.; his wife of Old Appleton; three daughters, Shauna (Cole) Huber of St. Mary, Mo., Danielle (Nicholas) Roth of Cape Girardeau, Stacey Roth of Old Appleton; a son, Adam (Sarah) Roth of Old Appleton; three sisters, Joy (Darryl) Peetz of Shawneetown, Lois (Michael) Pilz of Altenburg, Mo., Edie Mueller of Fenton; two brothers, Robert (Mary) Roth and Kenny (Sue) Roth, all of Frohna; seven grandchildren, Rylee, Kyndell and Brooklynn Huber, Caitlin Roth and three on the way.

He was preceded in death by his father.

Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. Saturday and from 8 a.m. to noon Sunday at Young and Sons East Perry Chapel in Altenburg.

Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Grace Lutheran Church in Uniontown, with the Rev. Paul Winningham officiating.

Burial will be in Trinity Lutheran Cemetery in Altenburg.

Memorials are preferred to American Heart Association, Grace Lutheran Building Fund or Trinity Lutheran Cemetery Fund in Altenburg.
