Michael Moyers

Michael Edgar Moyers, 73, of Patton died Monday, July 8, 2024, at the Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

He was born Oct. 29, 1950, in St. Louis, to Robert and Dollie Allen Moyers. He and Mary Moyers were married Sept. 5, 1998, at Old McKendree Chapel in Jackson. She survives him in Patton.

He was branch manager for MH Equipment.

Michael enjoyed working in his garage on his cars and riding his Harley. He loved spending time with Makayla, fondly known as "Peanut."

Survivors include daughter, Becky (Jake) Davis; two stepsons, T.J. (Ashley) Humphrey, Brian Humphrey; two brothers, Steve Moyers, Dale (Jan) Moyers; eight grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Dennis Moyers.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to noon Tuesday, July 16, at Ford and Liley Funeral Home in Patton.

Funeral will follow at noon Tuesday, July 16, with Pastor T.J. Humphrey officiating. Burial will be at Mouser Cemetery in Marquand.

Memorial contributions may be given to the Cancer Society.
