Michael Lee Lowery, 59, of Bonne Terre, Missouri, formerly of Scott City, passed away Friday, Sept. 4, 2015, at his home.
He was born July 29, 1956, in Chicago to Brian Michael and Virginia Lee Crews Lowery. Mike and Kristie Biler were married Feb. 14, 2003.
He was baptized into the Church of Christ in Memphis, Tennesee, and was a graduate of Rend Lake College. He was a registered nurse and nursing home administrator. Mike was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan.
Survivors include his wife, Kristie Lowery of Bonne Terre; his mother, Virginia Lowery of Scott City; two sons, Tim (Dana) Lowery of Scott City and Bradley Crowden of Seattle; two daughters, Jennifer Lowery of Scott City and Michelle (Aaron) Vance of Cape Girardeau; two brothers, Steven Lowery of Memphis and Jeff Lowery of East Prairie, Missouri; one sister, Stephanie (Tim) Hosey of Scott City; and six grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father, Brian, and a brother, Timothy Scott Lowery.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until time of service Monday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City.
The funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Monday at the chapel, with Brian Mitchell officiating. Burial will be in Lightner Memorial Cemetery in Scott City.
