BENTON, Mo. -- Michael Stanley Houseman, 58, of Benton died Friday, Oct. 22, 2021, at Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
He was born Oct. 27, 1962, in Charleston, Missouri, to Claude and Evelyn Shoffner Housman Jr. He married Carolyn Barr on Jan. 27, 1989.
He worked for Service Master in Sikeston, Missouri, and was a member of Eagles Club in Sikeston.
Michael is survived by his wife, Carolyn of the home; two sons, Larry (Beth) Pulliam of Benton and Mark Housman of Novi, Michigan; a daughter, Laura (Brian) Alexander of Benton; a brother, Billy Housman of Charleston; a stepbrother, Chris Frances of Charleston; a sister, Kay Bone of Charleston; and five grandchildren, Remi, Brayden, Peyton, Jakob and Kaden.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Rhonda Pehm.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the Unity Baptist Church in Benton.
Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the church with the Rev. Dennis Lowe officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
