OLMSTED, Ill. -- Michael E. "Micky" Dover, 61, of Olmsted died Monday, April 10, 2006, at Union County Hospital in Anna, Ill.
He was born Oct. 2, 1944, in Mound City, Ill., son of Mark and Mildred Hayes Dover.
Dover was a riverboat pilot with American Commercial Barge Lines. He was a member of Sandusky Pentecostal Church.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.
Survivors include his wife, Vickie; a son, Jeremy Pickett of Mounds, Ill.; three brothers, John Dover of Waterloo, Ill., Bobby Dover of Olmsted and Harry Dover of Villa Ridge, Ill.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister and three brothers.
Friends may call at Barkett Funeral Home in Mound City from 5 to 8 p.m. today.
The funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Clark Short officiating. Burial will be in Mound City National Cemetery, with military honors provided by the U.S. Army, the VFW posts of Mounds and Cairo, and American Legion posts of Villa Ridge and Cairo.
