Michael Anthony Crites, 54, of Memphis, Tennessee, formerly of Scott City, died Thursday, April 23, 2015, in Scott City.
He was born Jan. 8, 1961, in Portsmouth, Virginia, to Willard Basil and Sarah Jane Dickerson Crites.
Michael worked for PMC Biogenix in Memphis. He was a member of Knights of Columbus Council 6420 in Scott City.
Survivors include two sisters, Janie Crites and Theresa Echols; and a niece, Emily Echols, all of Scott City.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Dorothy and Mary Sue Crites; and a brother, Patrick Dale Crites.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at Amick-Burnett Chapel in Scott City. Parish prayers will be at 7 p.m., with a Knights of Columbus service following.
Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Augustine Catholic Church in Kelso, Missouri, with the Rev. Oliver Clavin as celebrant. Burial will be in St. Augustine Cemetery.
