WOLF LAKE, Ill. -- Michael Wayne Copeland, 40, of Springfield, died Saturday, May 18, 1996, at St. John's Hospital in Springfield. WOLF LAKE, Ill. -- Michael Wayne Copeland, 40, of Springfield, died Saturday, May 18, 1996, at St. John's Hospital in Springfield.

He was born March 20, 1956, in El Paso, Texas, son of Huey and Bessie Ann Ginn Copeland.

Copeland was a truck driver with ABF, and was a member of the Teamsters Union. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force.

Survivors include a son, Sean Copeland of Wolf Lake, and a sister, Mary Boren of Wolf Lake.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Friends may call at Lutz and Rendleman Funeral Home in Anna from 6-8 p.m. today.

Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. John Cripps officiating. Burial will be in Lindsey Cemetery at McClure, with graveside rites by Carroll P. Foster VFW Post 3455 of Anna.
