NEW HAMBURG, Mo. -- Michael Arthur Brucker, 68, of Tampa, Florida, formerly of New Hamburg, died March 11, 2017, at the home of his daughter.
He was born June 15, 1948, in Cape Girardeau to Otto and Zita Heuring Brucker.
He married Darice Miller Weisenauer on May 3, 2003.
He was a registered pharmacist. He was a member of St. Denis Catholic Church in Benton, Missouri, and Knights of Columbus, past president of Jaycees and 2000 World Champion Showcase Division Dancer UCWDC.
He is survived by his wife, Darice, of Tampa; a son, Michael D. (Alison) Brucker of Indianapolis; a daughter, Melissa Brucker Kob of Oran, Missouri; three grandchildren, Kayla Kob, Michael K. Brucker and Ella Brucker; a stepdaughter, Lindsey Weisenauer of Sylva, North Carolina; a brother, Thomas (Pam) Brucker of Rockford, Michigan; two sisters, Gerri (Gordan) Powell and Marilyn (Paul) Burford both of Benton; three step-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two nieces, Deanna and Andrea Burford.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at St. Denis Catholic Church, with parish prayers at 6:30 p.m.
Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the church, with the Rev. Michael Casteel as celebrant. Burial will be in St. Denis Catholic Cemetery in Benton.
Memorials may be sent to St. Francis Hospice.
