CHAFFEE, Mo. -- Michael J. Armitage, 30, of Chaffee passed away Tuesday, Dec. 11, 2018, at Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau, surrounded by his loving family.
He was born July 5, 1988, in Rome, New York, to James Armitage and Hope Wills.
Michael graduated from Chaffee High School, where he played football. He was of the Christian faith. He dearly loved and cherished his daughter, along with family and friends. He will be truly missed and forever loved by all who knew him.
He is survived by his significant other, April Whitworth, and their daughter, Mylah Armitage of Chaffee; his father and stepmother, James (Debra) Armitage of Chaffee; mother, Hope Wills of Verona, New York; and two brothers, Dru Armitage of Chaffee and Joshua (Jody) Armitage of Verona. He is also survived by a niece, Maddy Armitage.
He was preceded in death by both maternal and paternal grandparents.
Family and friends will be notified of a memorial service at a later date.
