METTA MYERS

PATTON -- Metta Ellen Myers, 86, of Patton died Sunday, June 18, 1995, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

She was born March 4, 1909, in Alliance, the daughter of James Henry and Louella Conrad Johnson. She married Norman William Myers Feb. 9, 1930, and he preceded her in death Dec. 17, 1980.

Myers was retired from W.A. Rowe Floral Company in St. Louis. She was a member of the Patton Presbyterian Church and the Daughters of the American Revolution.

Survivors include a son, Ivan Myers of Patton; a daughter, Elanie Waldmann of St. Louis; two sisters, Clara Lumpkin of Tulsa, Okla., and Mary Morris of Park Hills; six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Friends may call from 4-9 p.m. Tuesday at the Liley Funeral Home in Patton.

Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Patton Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Stan Martin officiating. Burial will be in the Patton Cemetery.
