MARBLE HILL -- Merle L. Stimpson, 65, of Marble Hill died Tuesday, Dec. 2, 1997, at her home, following an illness.
She was born April 3, 1932, in Marked Tree, Ark., daughter of Milton and Bessie Kilgo Aaron. She and Louie E. Stimpson were married Sept. 3, 1966, in West Memphis, Ark.
Survivors include her husband; a son, Jerry Cornelius of Abernant, Ala.; a daughter, Linda Cameron of Marble Hill; three stepsons, Steve Stimpson of Burkburnett, Texas, Stanley Stimpson of Fieldsboro, N.J., Sam Stimpson of Blytheville, Ark.; a brother, Charles Aaron of Marion, Ark.; a sister, Lawanda Burden of Whitewater; 10 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a son, and a brother.
Friends may call at Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill from 4-8 p.m. today, and 9-11 a.m. Friday at Roller-Citizens Funeral Home in West Memphis.
Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Roller-Citizens Funeral Home. Burial will be in Crittenden Memorial Park Cemetery in Marion.
