GIPSY -- Mennen M. Billington, 84, of Hillsboro, Ill., died Friday, Oct. 22, 1993, at St. Francis Hospital in Litchfield, Ill.

She was born Sept. 11, 1909, in Searcy, Ark. She and Emerson Billington were married Sept. 6, 1924. He died April 3, 1972.

Billington was retired from Wagner Electric in St. Louis. She was a member of Scopus Church of Christ. She moved to Hillsboro from Gipsy.

Survivors include a son, Bedford Billington of Hillsboro; eight grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Liley Funeral Chapel in Marble Hill. Kelly and Gene Francis will officiate, with burial in McGee Chapel Cemetery near Glen Allen.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 4-8 p.m. today.
