PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Melvin G. Kutscher, 80, of Perryville died Thursday, May 31, 2001, at PerryOaks Manor.
He was born April 17, 1921, at New Wells, Mo., son of Martin and Diamanda Leine Kutscher. He first married Trula Blaylock Dec. 9, 1954. She died Nov. 28, 1983. He later married Berniece Bryant March 1, 1987.
Kutscher was a construction worker. He was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church and Carpenters Union.
Survivors include three stepdaughters, Eva Lipe and Joyce Besand of Perryville, Lorraine Woollard of Florissant, Mo.; three stepsons, Arnold Fritz of Winfield, Mo., Hubert Fritz of San Angelo, Texas, John Fritz of Spokane, Wash.; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by eight brothers and three sisters.
Friends may call at Young and Sons Funeral Home from 4:30-9 p.m. today, and Saturday after 6:30 a.m.
Funeral will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Matthew Marks officiating. Burial will be in Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery.
