Mella Agnes Caraker, 91, of Davie, Fla., died Thursday, May 25, 1995, at Plantation Nursing Home in Ft. Lauderdale, Fla. She was born Oct. 15, 1903, in Oak Ridge, daughter of Marion and Maggie McCormack. She married John Ray Caraker in 1921, in Cape Girardeau. He died in 1962...

Mella Agnes Caraker, 91, of Davie, Fla., died Thursday, May 25, 1995, at Plantation Nursing Home in Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.

She was born Oct. 15, 1903, in Oak Ridge, daughter of Marion and Maggie McCormack. She married John Ray Caraker in 1921, in Cape Girardeau. He died in 1962.

Caraker moved to Ft. Lauderdale in 1975 from Cape Girardeau.

Survivors include a daughter, Ruby Welker of Ft. Lauderdale, and two grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by 10 brothers and sisters.

There is no visitation or funeral service.

Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
