Melissa Konopka

CHAFFEE, Mo. -- Melissa Konopka, 31, of Chaffee passed from this life Sunday, June 17, 2018, at Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

She was born Nov. 3, 1986, at Charleston, South Carolina, the daughter of John Jr. and Margaret Kauffelt Konopka.

Melissa leaves behind the loves of her life, her sons, Caden Wade and Dax Copeland, both of the home. Survivors also include a special friend, Davy Copeland of Chaffee; a brother, John Konopka III of Blackwood, New Jersey; and a sister, Christina Konopka of Jacksonville, Florida.

She will be missed by a host of friends and others whose lives she touched.

She was proceeded in death by her parents and a brother, Brett Konopka.

There will be a memorial service at a later date.

Morgan Funeral Home in Advance, Missouri, is in charge of arrangements.
