CLARKTON -- Funeral service for Mayrene Nash of Clarkton will be held at 3:30 p.m. today at Bradshaw Funeral Chapel in Malden. The Rev. Richard Blagg will officiate, with burial in Memorial Park Cemetery at Malden.

Friends may call at the funeral home after 10 a.m. today.

Nash, 56, died Thursday, March 9, 1995, at Lucy Lee Hospital in Poplar Bluff.

She was born April 22, 1938, in New Madrid, daughter of Robert and Myrtle Alice Nelson Allen. She and Charles Nash were married in August 1993 in Piggott, Ark.

Nash was a former city clerk at Clarkton.

Survivors include her husband; a son, Ronnie Jackson of Gideon; a daughter, Donna Tipton of Malden; her father and stepmother, Robert and Mary Ann Allen of Clarkton; two brothers, Bobby Allen of Cape Girardeau, Larry Allen of Clarkton; three sisters, Mamie Johnson of Gideon, Sharon Sills of Malden, Bonnie Foley of Versailles, Ky.; five grandchildren, and a great-grandson.
