She was born Aug. 27, 1931, in Poplar Bluff, Missouri, to Leonard Stevenson and Melma Bowman Hendricks. She and Edmond Lee Tex Larmie were married Nov. 21, 1949, in St. Louis.

She is finally home. Our mother lived her life to the fullest for everyone else. We take pride in this. She was a great "lady." Anyone who was blessed to know her is better for it. In our hearts she will remain and will continue to do unto others as she did.

She was an avid bowler. She was a volunteer at Southeast Hospital and St. Vincent de Paul School cafeteria, and a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church.

Survivors include two sons, Eddie (Jennifer) Larmie of Florida and Ronnie (Cathie) Larmie of Altoona, Iowa; five daughters, Sherry (Joe) Moore and Ginger (Gary) VanWeelden of Cape Girardeau, Sandra (Bruce) Holden of Texas, Linda (Jim) Horrell and Lorri (Joe) Erlbacher of Cape Girardeau; a sister, Peggy (Paul) Dibella of California; 15 grandchildren; and 24 great-grandchildren.
