Mayme I. Freeze, 83, of Cape Girardeau, died Thursday, Sept. 14, 1995, at Heartland Care and Rehab Center. She was born March 4, 1912, at Sixty Six, daughter of Louis and Ida Penny Smith. She and Timothy J. Freeze were married March 24, 1940, in El Paso, Texas. He died Oct. 14, 1977...

Mayme I. Freeze, 83, of Cape Girardeau, died Thursday, Sept. 14, 1995, at Heartland Care and Rehab Center.

She was born March 4, 1912, at Sixty Six, daughter of Louis and Ida Penny Smith. She and Timothy J. Freeze were married March 24, 1940, in El Paso, Texas. He died Oct. 14, 1977.

Survivors include a sister, Zelma Gale of Ava, Ill.

He was preceded in death by four brothers and five sisters.

Friends may call at Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel from 5-7 p.m. today.

Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Sunday at the chapel, with the Rev. Cy Smith officiating.

Burial will be Monday at Sunset Memorial Park in Albuquerque, N.M.
