CHARLESTON -- Mayme Estal Carver, 90, of Charleston died Saturday, July 31, 1999, at the Bertrand Nursing Facility.
She was born Sept. 13, 1908, in Pollard, Ark., daughter of Jasper and Lula Holifield.
She married Haskell Carver on Sept. 7, 1923. He died Nov. 8, 1996.
She is survived by two sons, Clifford Carver of Blytheville, Ark., and LeRoy Carver of Tupelo, Miss.; two daughters, Lenora Sitzes and Denale Hess, both of Charleston; 11 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
Service will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Shelby Funeral Chapel at Charleston, with Gerald Collier officiating. Burial will follow in Odd Fellows Cemetery.
Friends may call after 9:30 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
