Mayme Adel Ikerman, 90, of Cape Girardeau, died Thursday, Dec. 8, 1994, at Ratliff Care Center.
She was born Aug. 11, 1904, in Oran, daughter of Cephas and Sudie Frances Stoffel Niswonger. She and Harry Ikerman were married Dec. 31, 1921, at Jackson. He died in August 1975.
Ikerman worked at International Shoe Co. 26 years. She was a member of First Baptist Church.
Survivors include four daughters, Eva Kelley, Imogene Varnum and Ovella Wilson of Cape Girardeau, Marylyn Slinkard of Raleigh, N.C.; three brothers, Floyd Niswonger of Cape Girardeau, Marvin Niswonger of Jackson, Gerald Niswonger of San Diego, Calif.; a sister, Thelma Bond of Cape Girardeau; nine grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son and two sisters.
Friends may call at Ford and Sons Sprigg Street Chapel from 4-8 p.m. today.
Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the chapel, with the Rev. S.S. Borum officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park.
