JACKSON -- Funeral service for Maxine M. Godwin, 82, of Jackson will be at 11 a.m. today at Cracraft-Miller Funeral Home.

She was born April 20, 1914, at Salem, daughter of John B. and Nora A. Cooksey Mackey. She and James Morrell Godwin were married July 1, 1950.

Survivors include her husband; two daughters, Linda Godwin Nagel of Houston and Judy Green of Bartlesville, Okla.; two sisters, Pearl Baker of Ironton and Rose Gibbs of Salem; a brother, Roger Mackey of Jackson; and four grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters.
