Maxine Kirmaier, 79, of New Madrid, Mo., died Sunday, Nov. 25, 2001, at Beverly Healthcare in New Madrid.
She was born Jan. 21, 1922, daughter of Ralph Clifford and Stella Josephine Menke McReynolds. She and Raymond Anthony Kirmaier were married Aug. 19, 1972, in New Madrid. He died Dec. 14, 1974.
Kirmaier was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church. She served as a board member on several committees for the American Cancer Society. She started Maxine's Shareables Wearables at St. Vincent's Church.
Survivors include three daughters, Dianne Compton of New Madrid, Marsha Ball of Raleigh, N.C., Jackie McReynolds of Vancouver, Wash.; two brothers, Bob McReynolds of Wappapello, Mo., Jim McReynolds of Hannibal, Mo.; and three grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother.
Friends may call at Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Funeral Home from 4-8 p.m. today.
Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Vincent's Church. The Rev. Dan Schulte will officiate. Burial will be in Garden of Memories in Sikeston, Mo.
