ADVANCE, Mo. -- Maurine E. Reutzel, 87, of Advance died Sunday, Feb. 2, 2003, at the Baptist Home in Ironton, Mo. She was born Dec. 20, 1915, in Douglass, Texas, daughter of Willie and Eula Fowler Yates. She and Glen Reutzel were married April 21, 1935, in Hugo, Okla. He died June 9, 1987...

ADVANCE, Mo. -- Maurine E. Reutzel, 87, of Advance died Sunday, Feb. 2, 2003, at the Baptist Home in Ironton, Mo.

She was born Dec. 20, 1915, in Douglass, Texas, daughter of Willie and Eula Fowler Yates. She and Glen Reutzel were married April 21, 1935, in Hugo, Okla. He died June 9, 1987.

Maurine was a homemaker and member of Lynwood Baptist Church in Cape Girardeau.

Survivors include a son, Gary Reutzel of Advance; a grandson, Brett Reutzel of Fredericktown, Mo.; a granddaughter, Gretchen Dunivan of Arcadia, Mo.; four great-grandchildren, Lacey and Blaine Dunivan of Arcadia, Micah and Brittany Reutzel of Fredericktown.

She was preceded in death by two brothers.

Friends may call at Morgan Funeral Home from 5 to 8 p.m. today.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Morgan Memorial Park.
