DEXTER, Mo. -- Maudie V. Parker, 92, of Dexter died Thursday, Jan. 25, 2001, at her home.
She was born Sept. 11, 1908, in Dupo, Ill., daughter of John and Winnie MacFatridge White. She and Burley Parker were married Dec. 24, 1936. He died Aug. 20, 1996.
Parker retired from N.A. Lamp Co. in St. Louis. She lived at Bloomfield, Mo., many years and was a member of First Baptist Church there.
Survivors include a son, Darrell Layman of Sedgewickville, Mo.; a daughter, Ruth Menard of Marion, Ill.; a brother, Thomas White of Pennsylvania; three sisters, Esther Cippolla of Pennsylvania, Virginia Dixon of Dupo, Violet Korsen of Colorado; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a brother, two sisters, and a grandson.
Friends may call at Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home in Bloomfield from 6-8 p.m. today.
Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery near Puxico, Mo.
