MAUDE LATHAM

SIKESTON -- Maude Latham, 92, of Sikeston died Sunday, April 12, 1998, at Missouri Delta Medical Center.

She was born Sept. 16, 1905, in Sikeston, daughter of Joseph and Effie Johnson. She married Melvin Latham, who died April 23, 1974.

Latham was a member of Old Bethel Baptist Church.

Survivors include six sons, Gene, Raymond and Bud Latham of St. Charles, Bob Latham of Florissant, Larry Latham of Overland, Loyd Latham of Sikeston; two daughters, Audrey Johnson of Rockford, Ill. Barbara Hoskins of Sikeston; 22 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and two stepgrandchildren.

She was preceded in death by three grandchildren; a great-grandchild, three brothers and two sisters.

Friends may call at Ponder Funeral Home from 5-8 p.m. today.

Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with the Revs. Joe Skinner and Amos Johnson officiating. Burial will be in Memorial park Cemetery.
