JACKSON -- Maudaree Dickerson, 94, of Jackson died Sunday, Aug. 17, 1997, at Heritage Gardens.
She was born Oct. 8, 1902, in Millersville, daughter of Andrew and Maude Davenport Clifton. She married Glenn Dickerson on May 26, 1922, in Paragould, Ark., and he preceded her in death on April 11, 1982.
She had worked as an operator at Southwestern Bell and then with International Shoe Co., both in Jackson. She was a member of New McKendree United Methodist Church in Jackson and Altenthal-Joerns Post 158 Auxiliary.
She is survived by a son, Kenneth Dickerson of O'Fallon; a daughter, Glenda Wiskoski of Florissant; four grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by four brothers and a sister.
Friends may call from 9 to 11 a.m. today at Cracraft-Miller Funeral Home in Jackson. Funeral service is 11 a.m. today at the funeral chapel. Burial will be in Russell Heights Cemetery.
