Matthew Douglas Stallings, 29, of Jackson died Friday, Feb. 12, 2016, at Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

He was born Dec. 12, 1986, in Cape Girardeau to Doug and Threasa Dianne Swan Stallings.

Matthew attended Jackson High School.

He was an animal lover and had numerous pets.

Survivors include his father, Doug (Angie) Stallings of Jackson; mother, Threasa Stallings of Cape Girardeau; and sisters, Amy Stallings of Houston and Sarah, Beth and Megan Stallings of Jackson.

Friends may call from 5:30 p.m. until the time of the memorial service today at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home.

A memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. at the funeral home, with Patrick Tankersley officiating.

Visitation will resume after the memorial service until 8:30 p.m.
