J. Matthew "Matt" Moore, 42, of Scott City died Saturday, July 18, 2015, at his home. He was born March 5, 1973, in Cape Girardeau, son of Bobby Gene and Mary Bell Moore. J. Matthew "Matt" Moore, 42, of Scott City died Saturday, July 18, 2015, at his home.
He was born March 5, 1973, in Cape Girardeau, son of Bobby Gene and Mary Bell Moore.
Matt worked for Penzel Construction as a laborer until he became disabled.

He graduated from Scott City High School and attended Arkansas State University. He was of the Catholic belief.
He is survived by his parents of Scott City; two daughters, Kacey Moore of Scott City and Hannah Moore of Jackson; a sister, Krystal Moore of Scott City; and a granddaughter, Blakeley Rae Lance of Scott City.
A private family service will be officiated by the Rev. Tommy Miller. Burial will be in Lightner Cemetery in Scott City.
