MARZENA FRIEDRICH

ADVANCE -- Funeral service for Marzena Friedrich of Advance will be held at 1 p.m. today at Morgan Funeral Chapel, with Billy Davis officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery.

Friedrich, 88, died Wednesday, May 10, 1995, at Advance Nursing Center.

She was born Sept. 29, 1906, near Advance, daughter of Charles and Lillie Edwards Johnson. She and Fritz Friedrich were married Oct. 26, 1926, at Bloomfield. He died June 14, 1982.

Friedrich was a member of the Church of Christ Church.

Survivors include four sons, Gilbert Friedrich of Boonville, Ind., Eugene Friedrich of Sikeston, Alvin Friedrich of Perkins, Roy Friedrich of Jackson; three brothers, Harlan, Bob and Herman Johnson of St. Louis; two sisters, Alene Atkins of Advance, Imogene King of St. Louis; 11 grandchildren, and 17 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son.
