Mary Wilmes, 85, of Creve Coeur, Mo., died Wednesday, Dec. 8, 2004, at Delmar Gardens of Creve Coeur.
She was born Dec. 30, 1918, in Cape Girardeau, daughter of Eugene R. and Helen M. Andrews. She married George H. Wilmes, who preceded her in death.
Wilmes was a nurse aide eight years at Christian Northeast Hospital in St. Louis. She was formerly of Cape Girardeau.
Survivors include a son, Donald Wilmes of St. Charles, Mo.; five daughters, Dee McEnaney of Phoenix, Ariz., Jeanne Nielsen of O'Fallon, Mo., Elizabeth Mullen of Huntsville, Texas, Karen Smiley of Cape Girardeau, Marilyn Martin of Maryland Heights, Mo.; eight grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a brother and a sister.
A memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. Jan. 7 at St. Peter Catholic Church in St. Charles.
Baue Funeral Home in St. Charles is in charge of arrangements.
