SIKESTON -- Graveside service for Mary Elcie Williams of Sikeston will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at Evergreen Cemetery in El Paso, Ill.

Nunnelee Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.

Williams, 76, died Monday, Dec. 14, 1998, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

She was born Feb. 3, 1922, in Hagerville, Ill., daughter of John Wesley Houston and Viola Bacchus Sindle. She and Jessie Williams were married June 22, 1943. He died Jan. 1, 1989.

Survivors include three sons, Bill Williams of Minonk, Ill., Robert and Rick Williams of Sikeston; a daughter, Donna Dustin of Minier, Ill.; two sisters, Louise Newton of Sikeston, Lillian Short of Dexter; nine grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, five brothers and four sisters.
