Mary Webb

Mary M. Webb, 78, of Cape Girardeau died Tuesday, June 19, 2007, at Saint Francis Medical Center.

She was born Sept. 18, 1928, in Mesler, Mo., daughter of Herbert and Golda Price Van Matre. She and John William Webb were married Jan. 18, 1946, in Jackson. He died June 23, 2006.

Webb was a member of Red Star Baptist Church. She loved to play bingo at Bingo World.

Survivors include a daughter, Donna Sue Reynolds and husband John S. of Cape Girardeau; two granddaughters, Tara L. Robertson-Cooper and Kathlyn M. Reynolds of Cape Girardeau; and two great-grandsons, Alexander and Hunter Cooper of Cape Girardeau.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers.

Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home.

The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Cy Smith officiating. Burial will be in Lorimier Cemetery.
