ANNA, Ill. -- Mary Walton "Toodie" Hill, 94, of Anna died Friday, June 5, 1998, at the Jonesboro Health Care Center. She was born Nov. 23, 1903, at Ware, daughter of Winstead Davie and Annelise Bush Walton. She married John W. Hill on Dec. 10, 1923. He died Aug. 25, 1965...

ANNA, Ill. -- Mary Walton "Toodie" Hill, 94, of Anna died Friday, June 5, 1998, at the Jonesboro Health Care Center.

She was born Nov. 23, 1903, at Ware, daughter of Winstead Davie and Annelise Bush Walton.

She married John W. Hill on Dec. 10, 1923. He died Aug. 25, 1965.

She was a member of Mount Moriah Lutheran Church in Anna. She was a graduate of Monticello Seminary in Godfrey.

Survivors include five grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by three children.

Service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Mount Moriah Lutheran Church in Anna, with the Rev. Rick Hertenstein officiating. Burial will be in Anna Cemetery.

Friends may call at Crain Funeral Home in Anna, from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday.
