FRIEDHEIM -- Mary Kathrine Shipp, 51, of Friedheim died Thursday, Nov. 6, 1997, at her home. She was born Sept. 5, 1946, in Advance, daughter of Leo I. and Helen Louise Baker Lada. She and John E. Shipp were married Nov. 22, 1986, at Baden. Shipp worked at Ford Motor Co. in St. Louis 18 years, retiring in 1994. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church at Friedheim. FRIEDHEIM -- Mary Kathrine Shipp, 51, of Friedheim died Thursday, Nov. 6, 1997, at her home.

She was born Sept. 5, 1946, in Advance, daughter of Leo I. and Helen Louise Baker Lada. She and John E. Shipp were married Nov. 22, 1986, at Baden.

Shipp worked at Ford Motor Co. in St. Louis 18 years, retiring in 1994. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church at Friedheim. She was a graduate of Beaumont High School in St. Louis.

Survivors include her husband; two sons, Brian Taylor of Schweinfurt, Germany, Wayne Chitwood of Baltimore, Md.; a daughter, Stacy Zeppo of St. Louis; her mother, Helen Fischer of Marble Hill; a brother, Michael Lada of St. Louis; a sister, Donna Hennen of St. Charles; and two grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her father.

Friends may call at Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel in Cape Girardeau from 3-9 p.m. today.

Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Trinity Church in Friedheim, with the Rev. Wayne Palmer officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park in Cape Girardeau.
