MOUNTAIN HOME, Ark. -- Mary C. Machen Sadler, 90, of Mountain Home died Thursday, Oct. 8, 1998, at Gassville Nursing Home in Gassville, Ark. She was born Jan. 19, 1908, at Malden, daughter of John Hugh and Ida Nichols Machen. She married Thad Sadler on June 17, 1937, at Bernie. He died Jan. 9, 1990...
MOUNTAIN HOME, Ark. -- Mary C. Machen Sadler, 90, of Mountain Home died Thursday, Oct. 8, 1998, at Gassville Nursing Home in Gassville, Ark.
She was born Jan. 19, 1908, at Malden, daughter of John Hugh and Ida Nichols Machen.
She married Thad Sadler on June 17, 1937, at Bernie. He died Jan. 9, 1990.

She was a homemaker and taught school for 40 years in the Polin area and Pontiac, Mich.
She is survived by a son, William H. Sadler of Mountain Home.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday at Rainey Funeral Home in Bernie. Graveside service will be at 1 p.m. Monday in the Bernie Cemetery.
