Mary Louise Bynum Noland, 92, of Jackson passed away Wednesday, Nov. 15, 2023, at her home in Jackson, surrounded by her loving family.

Mary was born April 15, 1931, in Fulton, Kentucky, daughter of Doyle and Margaret Aline Humphrey Bynum. Her father passed away at a young age, and she was raised by her caring and loving stepfather, Henry Meyer Willer.

She and Leslie Noland were married Sept. 11, 1953, in Cape Girardeau County. Their union blessed them with four children, Vicky, Christie, Nancy and Mike. Leslie preceded her in death April 27, 1986.

Mary was a homemaker and worked in the family business, Noland's Riding Stables and Farm. She was a lifelong member of Wesley United Methodist Church and American Legion Auxiliary. She was also a distinguished quilter.

She is survived by her loving children, Vicky (Ginger Henley) Noland, Christie N. Baldwin and Nancy (Daryl) McNeely, all of Jackson, and Mike (Sharon Roth) Noland of Moscow Mills, Missouri; five grandchildren, Meg (Jason) Watson of Jackson, Spencer (Kayla) Baldwin of Oceanside, California, Leslie (Clay) Schermann of Jackson, Lyndsay (Seth) Maze of Goreville, Illinois, and Katie (Jeff) Fasching of Moscow Mills; 11 great-grandchildren, Ainsley, Colton and Cooper Watson, Sloane and Lettie Kate Schermann, Asher and Amelia Maze, and Austin, Mckenna, Brayden and Kaia Fasching; her in-laws, Jerry Rapp of Tomah, Wisconsin, Norma Lei Noland of Maui, Hawaii, and Joan Noland of Thomaston, Connecticut; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, Mary was preceded in death by a special friend, Ralph Stagg; stepfather, Henry Meyer Willer; her in-laws, Virginia and Tom Daniel, Gerald "Bud" and Noma Noland, Ruth and George Schweer, Harold Noland, James Noland, Joe Noland and Judith Rapp; and cousins, Ray Humphrey, Phyllis Carney and Dorothy "Dot" Smith.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to noon Wednesday, Nov. 22, at McCombs Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Jackson.

Funeral will follow at noon Wednesday, Nov. 22, at the funeral home, with the Rev. William Minor officiating. Burial will follow in McClain Chapel Cemetery.

Memorials may take the form of contributions to McClain Chapel Cemetery Fund.
