CAIRO, Ill. -- Mary Margaret Yates, 83, of Paducah, Ky., died Tuesday, Oct. 22, 1991, at Charleston Manor in Charleston, Mo. She was born Dec. 23, 1907, in Henderson, Ky., daughter of Henry and Mary Emma Fluhr Claycomb. She married Spyrus N. Yates, who died June 21, 1968. She was formerly of Cairo and Miller City, and member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church here...

CAIRO, Ill. -- Mary Margaret Yates, 83, of Paducah, Ky., died Tuesday, Oct. 22, 1991, at Charleston Manor in Charleston, Mo.

She was born Dec. 23, 1907, in Henderson, Ky., daughter of Henry and Mary Emma Fluhr Claycomb. She married Spyrus N. Yates, who died June 21, 1968. She was formerly of Cairo and Miller City, and member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church here.

Survivors include a daughter, Mary Barkett of Paducah; two grandchildren, Mitchell Barkett of Paducah; Ellen Sexton of Elizabethtown, Ky., and three great-grandchildren.

Funeral mass will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Patrick's Church. The Rev. Jerome Fortenberry will officiate, with burial in Calvary Cemetery at Villa Ridge.

Friends may call at Barkett Funeral Home Thursday from 8:30-9:30 a.m.
