EAST PRAIRIE -- Mary Mable Estes, 87, of East Prairie, died Thursday, May 18, 1995, at her home. She was born Feb. 4, 1908, at Wardell, daughter of William and Nevada Miller Owens. EAST PRAIRIE -- Mary Mable Estes, 87, of East Prairie, died Thursday, May 18, 1995, at her home.

She was born Feb. 4, 1908, at Wardell, daughter of William and Nevada Miller Owens. She and Alvin Estes were married in 1925. He died Aug. 3, 1984.

Estes was a member of First Christian Church in East Prairie.

Survivors include a daughter, Ruth Adkisson of East Prairie; two granddaughters, and five great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by three brothers.

Friends may call at Shelby Funeral Home in East Prairie after 2 p.m. today.

Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Martin Lucas officiating. Burial will be in East Prairie Memorial Park Cemetery.
