MARBLE HILL, Mo. -- Mary Elizabeth Long, 75, of Marble Hill passed away Saturday, June 5, 2010, at her home.
She was born March 16, 1935, in Murray, Ky., daughter of John Alvin and Lou Erie Bailey Davis.
Mary was an owner/operator of residential care facilities. She owned and operated Mary's Ranch many years, along with The Peaceful Acres and J&J Assisted Living. She had been a member of Eastern Star Lodge.
Survivors include two sons, Lorn Russell Allbritton of Marble Hill, Richard Berlin Allbritton of Potosi, Mo.; a daughter, Deborah Jane (Rick) Hentchel of Rincon, Ga.; a brother, Charles Pat Davis of Bonne Terre, Mo.; two sisters, Vesta Harvey and Wanda Scarborough of Marble Hill; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and longtime friend, Jon Pierce.
She was preceded in death by her parents, six brothers and two sisters.
Visitation will be from 4:30 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill.
Graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Cape County Memorial Park in Cape Girardeau, with the Rev. Winferd Wren officiating.
