MARY L. SWITALA

SIKESTON -- Mary Lee Switala, 77, of Sikeston, died Wednesday, Oct. 16, 1991, at Sikeston Convalescent Center.

She was born Oct. 2, 1914, at Sikeston, daughter of Charles S. and Eva Jane Frost Simpson. She married Hank Switala Oct. 16, 1942, in San Francisco, Calif.

Switala had been a salesclerk at Buckner-Ragsdale, and then worked in the office at International Shoe Co. She was a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church and its Ladies Sodality, and a member and past president of American Legion Auxiliary.

Survivors include her husband; three aunts, Opal Robertson and Nancy Pipkin of Sikeston, and Rosalie Boshell of Austin, Texas.

Funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Francis Church. Msgr. William Stanton will officiate, with burial in Garden of Memories Cemetery.

Friends may call at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel after 5 p.m. today. A prayer service will be held at 7:30.
