Mary King

SIKESTON, Mo. — Mary Ellen King, 59, of Sikeston died Sunday, Feb. 22, 2009, at her home.

She was born March 29, 1949, in Sikeston, daughter of Frances Richard and Lillian Juanita Hubbard Jenkins. She and Ronald Dale King were married Sept. 13, 1968.

King was a member of River of Life Church in Malden, Mo., and was employed by Good Humor-Breyers.

Survivors include her husband; a son, Kevin King of Sikeston; a daughter, Kim Pierce of Benton, Mo.; her mother of Sikeston; three brothers, Johnny, Guy and Roger Jenkins, all of Sikeston; and four grandchildren.

Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Ponder Funeral Home.

The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at First Assembly of God Church in Sikeston. The Rev. Dan Kellum of Bushnell, Fla., will officiate. Burial will be in Blodgett Cemetery in Blodgett, Mo.
