MORLEY -- Mary Kathryn Mize, 74, formerly of Morley, died Friday, May 8, 1992, at the SEMO Care Center in Sikeston.

She was born July 16, 1917 at Morley, daughter of Thomas F. and Bertha Robinson Irvin.

She had been employed as a secretary at a life insurance agency.

On June 6, 1937, she married Marcus "Bill" Mize, who died Dec. 20, 1968.

Surviving are two sons, Robert L. Mize of Casa Grande, Ariz., and James T. Mize of Bloomfield Route 3; one daughter, Karen R. Yearwood of Springfield, Tenn.; two sisters, Velma Jackson of Morley and Edna Murphy of Paragould, Ark.; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. today at the Morley Church of God with the Rev. Bedford Robinson, interim pastor, officiating. Burial will follow in the New Morley Cemetery.

The Nunnelee Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
